📢 Elk Valley eSports Super Smash Brothers Ultimate Week 5 Recap! 🎮🦁 Our Elk Valley Junior Varsity Lions (4-2) came into today ranked 4th in the Kansas Super Region, and they were ready to face Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School. Unfortunately, due to connection issues, Kapaun Mt. Carmel had to forfeit, giving our squad a 3-0 win! Led by Captain Kabella Hilyard, with Matthew Roach and Roman Price, they’re keeping momentum strong heading into the final stretch of the season! The Varsity Lions, featuring Captain Caden Thomas alongside Keith Rehmet and Charles Kiesel, entered their matchup ranked 6th and took on Buhler High School’s Gold squad. With impressive plays, they pulled off a thrilling 3-1 win! Lastly, our Junior Varsity II squad (2-3) captained by Codie Boutin, with Jeremiah Thompson and Bradley Clarenson, had a tough matchup against Goddard High School’s SSBU2 team and, despite their best efforts, fell 0-3. Still, they’re ready to regroup for next week’s challenges!
